The atrium center named “Book Tree” is lit up by linear wall washers to emphasizes on its symbolic meaning: the stem of knowledge. In “Learning Leaves” which support the stem, we challenged to create new ways of design. Vaulted ceilings are lighted up by upper linear lights instead of ceiling lights. New lighting fixtures that we designed creates the bright enough spaces whilst maintaining a calm atmosphere and a beautiful escaping light through a tracery of bricks. This land mark blends with its surrounding by using bricks, with light however, it becomes a unique image at night, reminiscent of lace.
