Reconstruction Project of Hakata Station 4-Chome Second District

A complex building was built approximately 200m to the south of Hakata Station. It includes a new bus stop, UR rental houses, and commercial facilities developed by the Urban Renaissance Agency (UR). The various arrival/departure stations which were on the streets before have been consolidated into the new building. It is located in a new development area in Hakata and strengthens Hakata Station’s transportation function You can see different types and usages of the spaces such as a bus terminal, stores, and houses. Various directions and heights of the viewpoints give intriguing impressions. While inheriting this diversity, still it shows harmony based on the three concepts of “embrace”, “connect”, and “bond”.
