Located at the gateway to Itoshima City, “Drunk Driving Awareness Memorial” is a memorial space designed to convey the value of life and express a strong message against drunk driving. The lighting design softly illuminates the central figure, highlighting its form and expression even at night. Carefully adjusted angles and brightness create a calm atmosphere that invites quiet reflection. Animal sculptures and surrounding greenery are also individually lit, wrapping the park in a gentle, reassuring glow. The lighting design ensures safe footing and subtly guides movement through the space. This thoughtful lighting design encourages public awareness of safety and supports the community’s shared commitment to eliminating drunk driving.
